About Hathi Vegetable Masala
Hathi Masala has been a reliable name in Indian households since 1952. Our vegetable masalas are manufactured by Gandhi Spices Pvt. Ltd. in Rajkot, Gujarat, using a procedure that ensures purity at every step.
Why Cryogenic Grinding Makes Hathi Vegetable Masala Different
Most spice blends are ground using Traditional procedures that generate heat during grinding. This heat evaporates the volatile essential oils inside the spices. These oils are responsible for their taste and flavor.
We use cryogenic grinding technology, which grinds spices at extremely low temperatures. This preserves the volatile oils from evaporating. The outcome is a stronger flavor from less spice. Many of our customers claim they need to use less Hathi Masala than other brands’ spices to achieve the same taste.

Frequently Asked Questions: Hathi Vegetable Masala
What is the difference between Garam Masala and Kitchen King Masala?
Hathi Garam Masala is a finishing spice that gives a deep aroma and heat to your meals. Hathi Kitchen King Masala is used in cooking and pairs well with paneer curry, sabji, dal, and rice. Most Indian cooks use both.
Which Hathi Spice is best for everyday sabji?
Kitchen King Masala is the most popular blend. It works well in aloo gobi, paneer bhurji, mixed vegetables, and dal. And also the Sabji Masala which has been blended for dry and semi-dry sabji.
What is Aakhri Masala, and how is it used?
Aakhri Masala is a chatpata mixture, not very spicy. Sprinkle it on snacks, noodles, sabji, and even on your omelets just before serving. This masala can be used by most homes just like the chaat masala, except it has more flavors.
What is cryogenic grinding, and why does Hathi Masala use it?
Traditional grinding methods generate heat that destroys the essential oils in whole spices, responsible for their flavor. Hathi Masala uses cryogenic grinding at very low temperatures to preserve these oils completely. The result is a stronger flavor from less masala, so your dabba lasts longer.
What is Secret Undhiyu Masala, and can I use it for other dishes?
Secret Undhiyu Masala is specially made for traditional Gujarati Undhiyu. But it works well for mixed curries and stuffed vegetables, too. It enhances natural vegetable flavor.
What is the difference between Garam Masala and Secret Garam Masala?
Hathi Garam Masala is an all-purpose spice blend and suitable for daily use in dishes. Hathi Secret Garam Masala is more aromatic and stronger. Which makes it well-suited to dishes that require rich flavor, like biryani or rajma.
Which spice blend should I use for chole?
Use Chole Masala, specially blended to provide authentic dhaba-style chole. One may add a little Hathi Garam Masala at the end for an added punch of flavour.
How much spice blend should I use?
For sabji for 4 people, use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Kitchen King or Sabji Masala while cooking. When using Garam Masala at the end, a quarter to half a teaspoon should be enough. For Aakhri Masala, just a quarter teaspoon is sufficient.
Are Hathi Masala products safe for children and older family members?
